The golf center boasts 2 experienced golf instructors.
Winnie Sewell, a local stalwart in the golfing community in Anne Arundel County with over 20 years of teaching experience, provides individual and group lessons to students of all ages and abilities. Winnie directs camps and clinics for kids as well as a 9 hole Wednesday night league for women.
David Eaton, a PGA professional, recently joined our staff as Director of Golf. David and his family relocated to the area from Pennsylvania where he was the Head Professional at the Philadelphia Country Club. David teaches students of all abilities in addition to his duties overseeing the pro shop. Both professionals are certified golf club fitters.
The pro shop at the Severna Park Golf Center now has demo clubs from manufacturers such as Callaway, Ping, Cobra, and Nike. In addition to clubs and putters, the pro shop also has a wide selection of golf balls, apparel, gloves, and training aids. |
